Ferencvaros - Rangers

Post image

Hello,

I am looking for help to get tickets to the match next Thursday.

I visited Budapest in 2022 and really enjoyed my experience with Ferencvaros and learning about the history of the club on the tour and Budapest as a city.

I am returning next week and there is a big match v Rangers that I wish to attend with my cousin and father.

I do not currently have tickets to the match and the club does not allow UK citizens to buy a ticket but I am trying my best to find some!

If anyone could help out?

Thank you!

B-sector is sold out but there are still some solo seats in the c sector. D4 the sector beside the away fans is full. D3 - D2 has some. But I can't help you these tickets are personalised.

My friend you don't understand. The tickets are personalised, they are tied to your Name. when you want to enter you have to hold your arm against a scanner that scans your veins for identification. So unless that person that buys tickets for you, gives you his fan card and his Arm you won't get in. I have a fan card but even though I would love to help you out by buying tickets for you I simply can't. only the VIP sector does not require a fan card but they cost around 200 - 400 € and are sold out. I am really sorry

What about pre-registration? Can away fans pre register for a fan card somehow ?

As away-fan the ticketing is handled by the away team and therefore you don't need a fancard? I do not really understand your question. To confirm it I was just in the ticket shop from Fradi and I cannot buy tickets for the away block (e). I know that For the game against the Glasgow rangers they did not register new fan cards for Scottish citizens. I can't find any official info about it though.

As they said, the demand for tickets far exceeds the availability, so I won’t be able to get a ticket for the away team's fans. That’s why I’m looking to see if I can get in with the home team’s fans.

You can find the form for a fan card application here. You have to get in person. You can do that either at the stadium or at their training ground, you will find the information about the location and opening hourshere. Since I am a German citizen and I live in Germany I can confirm that foreign citizens can get a fan card, BUT (!) I know that Scottish citizens weren't allowed to get one prior to the rangers game I cannot guarantee that they will give you a fan card. Also despite knowing this from Germany that sometimes away fans sit in the home sector I would not advise you to do it in Hungary. If you wear panathinaikos merch for the home sector I'm am pretty sure they will not allow you in. I've never seen an away-fan in the home sector of the Groupama aréna...

"there is no online registration." source. I made a lot of fan cards for friends and family, I made every single one in person

So if i be there on matchday and the game is sold out i won't be able to enter the arena right ?
