Painted bell guards

I got bored and figured this would’ve been a good use of my time.

Edit: Just to clarify i taped the centers off so it can make contact.

Make sure your bells are still grounded on the epees. You may need to sand the paint off the centers where the socket contacts the bell.

Even more important for foil than epee. With epee when you insulate the guard from the guard socket the worst that happens is hits to the guard register as valid., With foil when you insulate the guard from the guard socket then you could break the normally-closed foil circuit, resulting in a continuous white light.
