Looking for ideas

Hi all! I’m looking for ideas for a fence here to keep my 100lb dog in. I’d love for the cedars to stay as part of it, so I’m thinking a small 3-4ft fence as an option. I was thinking of doing a lattice base just to keep him in, but would love thoughts if anyone has any! Thanks!

As a person who has 100# dogs, I wouldn’t do a lattice bottom. My dogs would chew/claw their way through it going after squirrels and bunnies.

Four foot is a minimum height. Athletic dogs could clear that easily, so I’d opt for 5-6ft height.

You might also want to consider how you’re going to keep them from going under the fence if they’re diggers. You can add skirting to the bottom of wooden fencing or wire tie hardware cloth to the bottom of chain link fencing.
