I have asked myself that for weeks but I think I may have finally figured it out. They just hate the Fatui and the general Genshin Impact fandom. They hate their male characters, they hate their theorycrafters, they hate their own character designs, their fanworks, their shippers. They just loathe all of it.

Never in my life have I seen a company have such a visceral contempt for their own fans. It makes no sense, it really doesn’t, Hoyo we all love your game. We have decided over half a decade to supporting you and the game we love. We made theories, we made fanart, we drummed up hype, we love this world you made.

And all for this? Capitano sat in a chair? Dottore gone and him potentially getting lobotomised? The Columbina experience? And now the “design” of Sandrone?

I don’t even want to see the Tsaritsa at this point because I know what is going to happen.

I don’t know what to even say at this point, comrades…

I know that title makes it sound like I’m hating on her, but I say that with all of the love for her (she’s one of my favorite harbingers). It’s because I adore her that I hope her banner does horrifically.

Hoyo gave us an amazing design with the contrast between a petite noblewoman and a hulking robot. We have characters like this in HSR already, so doing something similar in Genshin shouldn’t be too difficult, right? Plus, Pulonia already has a functioning model as we played as him in the AQ, so we already have the pieces to use.

NOPE!

Hoyo is so allergic to player feedback and is so addicted to the concept of only gooner-bait selling that they not only shortened Sandrone’s dress so it barely covers her up, but they traded Pulonia for a generic robot with tits!!!

Pulonia was such a key feature of Sandrone’s design that there was a theory that Sandrone was just Pulonia’s puppet (hence the title of Marionette). Plus, do we truly believe that Sandrone would easily replace Pulonia, aka the only other piece of tech to be created by Alain Guillotine that she has put a ton of work into upgrading and refining?

But, if her banner does well, Hoyo will see the numbers and think nothing of it. So, I hope her banner does so badly Hoyo actually takes notice and maybe, just maybe, listens. Cause if they won’t listen to us, maybe they’ll listen to the sales report.

I know it’s a long shot, but a girl can dream.

At least we get the almost equally funny idea of dottore in a cafeteria this patch. I keep imagining a school styled one that is also staffed and populated by regular fatui agents who feel awkward as hell around the harbingers

I just finished the new AQ and why is the pacing so weird? Like you have Dottore and Pantalone's first talk, and then you know the whole stalling sequence. But the actual fight with Dottore was so short, and they never explained in game how he was able to talk to Pantalone again? Was that a projection(the outfit was different though)? And after the whole fight sequence we spent 3 hours running around checking up on all our friends and then went to a trip to Mondstadt starring Collei? Who is this AQ even about

Capitano has immortality as a curse while dottorre chased it. Capitano is many people in one body(the souls inside him) but dottore is one person in many bodies (his segements). Capitano befriended and made deals with the gods while dottore hated them. Capitano is so selfless he would suffer indefinetly for others but dottore is so selfish he wouldnt help himself. Thrain=6 Zandik=6.

Dottore is a highly intelligent being as explained by the lore and even Nahida admitted it. He conducted so many experiments to actually turn the wave, he gathered so many knowledge throughout the years through his segments.

He knew what'll happen to him in nod-krai and it was all just an experiment for him, his last (half part of soul) was the peak of his capabilities and he failed like a cheap villain.

Fatui had known almost all hidden secrets of teyvat and they didn't know about Aaru ?

Dottore was so intelligent as I mentioned above and he didn't suspect that they might destroy the Irminsul itself or he didn't a backup plan ? Pathetic thinking again

Dottore asked pantalone that he needs more time, more time for what ? To invite your death ? What did you actually do to protect yourself? What were your plans ? To get killed ? After all you have done, you admitted defeat like it meant nothing.

Dottore had so much experience as a villian because of his segments and his high intelligence but all went to shit just because they wanted to introduce Pantalone to the main screen now.

This might be the worst Quest and I'm so fed up with Hoyo ruining villains again and again.
