Discussion Weekend Check-In 🌞

Hi everyone!

It's been a minute since our last check in and here in the UK we've had some unseasonably hot weather. Luckily for me it's now cooled to a more pleasant level and my brain has started working again. With the kids going back to school for their final term hopefully I can get some writing done!

So how is everyone doing? This is a place to chat about anything at all and catch up with each other 💜

I just learned the other day that the private school chain I teach at awarded me "teacher of the year" for my region (covers 7 states). They are going to send me to some corporate award ceremony in a few months with the other regional winners. Pretty excited about that since I've only been teaching for 4 years.

Congratulations! That's such a nice award, especially for them to send you to the ceremony (if you enjoy travel and such, that is).
