Any idea what could be causing this bug on Cold Steel 2? The save files work fine, it's just a visual issue but it's left me confused. I've tried both verifying files and reinstalling but the bug persists, which is really weird

Images are .pngs saved in save folder. Check if that's the case, might be the game just saved em corrupted? Are future saves also saving corrupted?

Checked the images on the folder and they look fine. Well, it says that they're actually .bmp files, but I assume that's just the type of file the game uses and not an issue. Saved two new files, one regular one and one clear file after beating the game again. The regular ones look fine like on the image I posted, it's only the clear files and the background image for empty files which looks weird, it's hard to notice but on that same image you can see that the empty files are also distorted.
