Is it just me?
Today I was at the vet and this guy asked about my lightning and I ended up giving him a full feature tour and almost gave him a ride because he couldn’t comprehend the acceleration. This isn’t the first time this has happened to me, I have probably done this like 7 times since getting it in March does it happen to any of you guys?

I have one of the first PROs off the line, so I am 4+ years/50K miles and I am still singing the praises to everyone who will listen. What really gets the is whhen I tell them that a diesel F250 was my daily for 20+ years. And they are like REALLY??? I say YEAH because I love torque, and as much as the F250 has, it isn't SHIT!!! They look all confused and I point and say 775 and they just look dumbfounded. Then I follow with 0-60 in under 4.5.... More surprised looks. Normal people get excited and say they are going to look into it. Those "others" start getting pissy and loud and start complaining about range anqiety, like they know what it is. I retort with "I drove a diesel for 20 years and 250k miles, so range anxiety has worn off about 20 years ago. Those who know. usually get a laugh out of that. Still own my diesel but rarely (ok never) drive it. The lightning is the best vehicle I have owned in 40 years of driving. SEE???? I can not contain myself. Here I am, even preaching to the choir!!! lol
