Is it just me?

Today I was at the vet and this guy asked about my lightning and I ended up giving him a full feature tour and almost gave him a ride because he couldn’t comprehend the acceleration. This isn’t the first time this has happened to me, I have probably done this like 7 times since getting it in March does it happen to any of you guys?

I golf. Carry the bag in the frunk. Been a member at the same course for ~ 2 years, and yet probably 1 in 3 times I pop the frunk to get my clubs, I get some sort of incredulous "Wait...is that electric?" or something.

And yep...every single time, it goes from "yeah, bag in the frunk is cool" to "look at these outlets" to "yep, favorite truck ever", and so on.

I love showing the thing off. :) I'm still convinced Ford could have sold a bazillion of them if they'd just let us sell them. lol

No kidding. I’ve said it before, but it’s amazing how few people know it exists. They really botched the release on a number of levels.

They botched the pricing. Promising long range in the XLT and then putting it behind the Lariat is why I did not purchase one.

That factors in, but I tend to think allowing dealers to add huge markups when demand was really high initially was the biggest mistake. The sentiment that they were hugely expensive lingered for a long time. (Not that MSRP was rightly priced either)
