Today I was at the vet and this guy asked about my lightning and I ended up giving him a full feature tour and almost gave him a ride because he couldn’t comprehend the acceleration. This isn’t the first time this has happened to me, I have probably done this like 7 times since getting it in March does it happen to any of you guys?

Usually I get a bunch of questions about the frunk. Happens when I'm throwing groceries in there. That then goes to range and I'll usually talk about the acceleration when they inevitably ask how I like it.

I have some insta crates that fit perfectly into the frunk and I no longer use bags at all. That gets people good when I just walk up after my Costco or grocery run and throw 2 full crates from my shopping cart into the frunk 😂

I quit using the frunk for groceries because of the constant questions.

I'm now just a regular "truck" guy at the local supermarket.

The frunk gets me well meaning people asking me help, until they see the reusable bags coming out. The number of times I have been asked by other truck owners if I need hand when I have been grabbing bags is heart warning. Yes, I know its a Ford, no, it's not living up to the reputation of one.

Then there was one guy who lost his mind. He was driving a supped up car and he couldn't believe it when I pulled bags out of the frunk. To him it was science fiction. Pure magic. And when I told him I could beat his four banger off the line line he was both impressed and jealous. And my wife was like "it's a truck?"

I always put carry out food/pizza in the frunk so that my interior doesn’t smell like food. That almost always gets someone asking me about it.
