You forget the first half of the story. Essendon was a joke before Hird.
We begged him to sacrifice his business life for us.

Totally agree mate.

I dont care how well credentialled on paper some of these other coaches are. None will be able to deliver a stirring pull ya socks up redemption story boundary line motivational revv up like Hird will be able to.
