Barking Demons Am I the only one who thinks that dog barks are the most annoying sound in existence?

There's like 10 dogs that live in my street. They all go on barking wars all the time like the reactive brainless animals that they are. I'm sick to death of hearing dogs barking constantly. I don't know how dog owners can tolerate it at all. Just want to know if there's anyone else that despises them as much as me

Barking Demons The only animal to make constant noise with no actual reason to make noise.

No other animal in this world creates the noise pollution that dogs create. I am in love with wild life.

I love pretty much all wild animals and watching them in their habitat just roaming and even love hearing them.

Even when I watch documentaries literally no animals consistently make unnecessary constant excruciatingly ear piercing noises and sounds the way that dogs do.

I truly will never understand how dog obsessed people live with these nasty monsters that just bark for hours on end for legit NO reason!

Now that the weather is getting nicer, it’s all you hear. Nothing or no one can peacefully exist anywhere without having these dumbass animals going crazy for legit NO reason other than they cannot handle existing around anything without losing their shit.

Dog owners are selfish disgusting people. Their dOgGos are all that matters to them

Barking Demons I hate how being barked at is so normalized

I'm a guy and I am sensitive to loud noises. I can't help but flinch if a dog starts yelling at me. Even if I see it coming it takes effort to stop myself from visibly reacting.

The owners are just so condescending. "don't be scared", "it doesn't bite". They often seem amused or they genuinely think I'm scared for my life or something.

Imagine a human yelling into your face while their friend keeps insisting that he doesn't mean it.

Then there's dogs that slam into a fence and stick their snout out while barking in the most psychotic way possible.

These things must be so tortured, just sitting around, locked up most of the time. Yelling at everything that moves.

Barking Demons What’s the thing you can’t stand about dogs more than anything?

For me it’s barking. It’s so grating and jolting. I just tried to lay down for a nap and gave up after awhile. Some asshole neighbor’s asshole dog was outside barking nonstop. I’m on the 3rd floor and sound carries, so I can’t really figure out which house it’s coming from. I think if dogs didn’t bark, I wouldn’t hate them as much.

Barking Demons A personal WIN against a nutter

I made a post a couple months ago about how I live on a small lake and how ever since it became warm, my neighbors across the water would leave their ugly pitbull unattended on their deck for hours at a time every day to relentlessly bark at nothing and anything.

The barks would BOOM across the water, amplified and reverberated for all to hear.

Well, I have an update.

I started recording every single instance. Then I posted one of the videos in our neighborhood facebook group, asking if anyone else is bothered by it and what to do.

Several people agreed that it was irritating and incessant, and I was informed it had been going on long before I even moved here. One person said they even tried talking to the owners about it and nothing changed.

An admin commented that it would be brought up in the following HOA meeting, but I know that often doesn’t amount to much.

So I contacted animal control and let them know everything. I let them know I’ve been recording every instance for evidence if needed. They asked for the address and said they would send a warning letter.

They told me to give it a couple weeks and report it again if nothing changes. They said they would “take it further” at that point.

That was about 4 weeks ago. They let the ugly little monster out on the deck about 3 weeks ago. I heard it bark for about 10 seconds before they pulled it inside.

Haven’t heard a PEEP since. We all finally get to enjoy the sounds of nature without that stupid little fuck ruining the ambience.

Shoutout to animal control for doing their job. If there’s anything to take from this - RECORD IT every time you hear it. Build a case.

Hope this is encouraging for someone else out there!

Fuck pitbulls til the end of time.

So I follow an anti dog\dog owner account on Tiktok. As one expects, dog nutters hate watch it and leave the most unhinged comments. A day or so ago they posted a video of them walking past a yard and the little yapper absolutey losing it's mind with the most shrill sound coming out of it. Many nutters got upset about it with one or two telling the account owner to harm themselves. What the fuck is wrong with these people? Why is that kind of noise disturbance accepted and encouraged? Roosters and chickens aren't even allowed in residential areas due to the noise but dogs are allowed to make unearthly noises for hours at a time? I'm so sick of that kind of entitlement and bullying when people don't want to hear it.

Barking Demons I am so fucking sick and tired of amerikkka's fetish for these damn beasts

I have been living in Southern California for my entire life and it has gotten to the point that I can't even stay at home or go outside with these fucking monsters barking and going up to me. It's even worse at my community college because these nutters treat it as their own personal dog park. There needs to be more regulations when it comes to the ownership of these worthless misbegotten mutts. How many more children need to be mauled and attacked these beasts until we have decided as a collective that enough is enough!

Barking Demons Has anyone in the UK been impacted by this new Renters Rights Pets claus?

Has anyone else in the UK been negatively impacted by the “pet” claus in the renters rights act?

As of the 1st of May, landlords can no longer refuse tenants the “right” to own a pet (Aka dog). Yet I am not allowed to feed the pigeons, which affected no one else and brought me a lot of stress relief when dealing with Autism related stress. But regardless, I absolutely do not think it’sa good idea to allow anyone to own a dog, it just means those tenants lucky enough to have landlords who didn’t allow dogs, no longer have this protection.

Not even a WEEK after this bill, two of my neighbours have gone out and got dogs! And there are only 3 other people living in my relatively small flat. The dogs bark and howl all day long, and it is a nightmare as a parent too! The barking wakes my baby up and stops her sleeping; and I have to cross the gauntlet of barking demons if I need to take my baby out or just take her for a walk to get away from said barking. One of the dogs has always gone for her, just by taking her downstairs to be able to go for a walk. The landlady used to say strictly no pets, but now she has no power to do anything. Dog barking isn’t classed as noise disturbance, but if I put music on to try and drown out the barking, that somehow is??

WHY should I now have to live in fear for mine and my daughters life and sanity in my own home!? This new bill is an attack on the very basic right of people to be safe in their own homes that they pay rent for.

Has anyone else in the UK been effected by this new bill?

Barking Demons The fact that dogs can just BARK AND BARK AND BARK AND BARK

…for fucking HOURS on end is absolutely asinine. Just ridiculous. I swear these beasts come straight from hell itself. Not only is barking a massively triggering sound, but the nerve the owners of these bastard creatures have, just letting them carry on like that, is enraging.

I live in a suburb that’s packed like a sardine can and so many people around me own dogs. It’s a constant cacophony of mutts. Every time I hear one start going off, my first thought is “How the fuck do the owners not hear this bullshit?” Then “How can they not care?” And then the answer hits me: “Oh right. Because they’re selfish, careless assholes.”

It’s torture. It’s literal mental, physical, and emotional torture. Sound pollution is shown to cause mental health issues. There is no peace in an environment filled with dogs.

Barking Demons Admitting myself to the hospital due to dog barking

I know this sounds a little over-dramatic. I am at my wits end. I am mildly autistic, so noises bother me so bad.

I’ve had an ongoing issue with my neighbors leaving their dogs outside 24/7 to bark as they please. They are very reactive and bark at something simple as a squirrel. Their dogs are supposed to have white fur but are brown/black due to being dirty. The police nor animal control will do anything. Thought it was hilarious, because they added an additional dog to their family just to leave them all outside.

Now, the house across the street. There used to be a quiet old man that lived there. He got sent to a nursing home so his family started renovating the house. They were building a fence so I just knew it. Today they brought over three dogs that have been barking for hours, which is also making my neighbors dog bark.

I’m getting to a very very bad mind state. I have my doctors appointment next week and I’m going to tell him how I feel. It will likely get me admitted to the hospital but I need to be honest. All because of dog barking. A big shoutout to those surrounding neighbors for my mental health decline. I never would have imagined. Sadly I bought this house and am paying an assload every month. So there’s literally no escape!

Barking Demons So sick of the barking.. I've had enough! And I took action.. *pool story*

Imagine you are working from home, you have your balcony open, so you can get nice fresh air, hear the wind blow through the leaves of the trees, birds, and the occasional car in the far background. Coffee ready, programs and data open, ready to get to work!

And then it starts... barking... higher pitch than from a big dog, but also not weak enough for a small dog (mhm.. thanks to all the "amazing" neighbors and dog people, I can now distinguish if the barking is from a small, medium, or large dog..). I stay calm, sip on my coffee..

It doesn't f***ing stop! Constant barking for several minutes. I go on the balcony and look around to see what is going on. Nothing on any other balcony.. hmm.. several groups of people at the pool.. AND THERE IT IS! A black mid-sized dog is running around the pool and barking and barking..

My anger is growing! At this point, I can't focus, not only because of the barking, but also because of the thoughts that there are people down there, allowing their dog at the pool and constantly barking, without any thought that this might not only be against rules (dogs are not allowed at the pool!), but the sheer amount of inconsideration for all the other residents..

I'm getting so pissed that I've decided to take action. I change into my swim shorts, grab a towel and I'm on my way to the pool. As I get closer, the barking stops, then there it is again... good!

I open the pool area with my key fob and start walking to the stairs that lead into the water. I make eye contact with a visibly annoyed woman, with her daughter, on chairs at the very end of the other side where the barking is coming from. Then there are two older ladies in the water, a guy with his kid in the water, and a woman with a kid outside on a cabana. The barking had stopped, so I couldn't see the dog.

I get into the pool, starting to put my swim goggles on, and the barking starts again...! Now I see it, the dog is with the woman with the kid, now bound to the cabana...

When I start swimming, I still can hear the barking every time I get out of the water to breathe. I can't wait to get to the end of the pool to finally say something. While I swim I see the guy with the kid from the pool getting out and joining the woman, kid, and dog...

I pull myself up on the edge of the pool, and sit there, taking off my goggles and now staring at the dog, then the owners and their kids.. and I keep staring! No reaction, no comment to the dog, which is still barking and barking and barking...

"Excuse me! I assume this is your dog?!"

"Yes, he's still a little puppy. Isn't he cute?" the woman says.

"Did you know that dogs are not allowed at the pool?" I say pretty directly and with a harsh and annoyed tone!

"Oh really.. we just recently moved in and didn't read all the lease and rules yet."

"Yeah, well, it's right here on the big rules board on the pool house (wc, grills, small kitchen, etc. - and there is a huuuge board with all the rules for the pool...). Also, you don't think the constant barking might be annoying to your neighbors? And what if the dog decides it has to pee... on one of the pool chairs.. or who knows where?!"

I think they are now starting to get the message that I will not worship their dog, that I am not playing, that I am annoyed, and in the right!

They start packing, and the husband can't fucking help himself and says, "We just really wanted to spend some family time together." I just stay quiet, continue sitting on the edge, and observe them pack. He leaves with the puppy and the older kid. While the woman with the other kid stayed at the pool, and of course, she is now deeply hurt and is giving me the looks...

And you know what? I DIDN'T CARE!

I'm so over people with their dogs doing whatever they want, disturbing the whole neighborhood with the stupid constant barking (get control over your stupid mutt. You can teach it to not bark! You are just lazy!)... and who cares if the dog takes a piss or shit at the community pool, right?! What happened to common sense?!

And the stupid comment.. dude, if you want time with your family, and not be bound by a dog.. why the heck did you get it?! Get rid of it, or accept the consequences...

Barking Demons My Neighbor Let Their Dog Bark At Me For 2 Yrs. Then I Stopped Being Nice.

I live next to two shitty old people. They are anti social and never walk their dog. They have not walked their dog once all year. So it barks like crazy. I've seen the dog try to attack the male neighbor. The dog really belongs to the old crow, and she babies the shitbeast. So it has no respect for her either. They moved in the neighborhood, and she said, 'It's so quiet!' then proceeded to be the loudest household on the block. You can hear their shit beast 10 houses down the street.

I have an extensive garden that I built myself that my neighbor is lowkey jealous of. When I would work on my yard, she would let her shit beast bark and bark, which would cause the other dogs to bark. She once admitted to me that she let the dog bark to 'prevent' people from buying the new houses built behind hers. So she wanted ME or the other adjacent neighbors to get the noisy, bad dog neighbors. I put up with her shit for two yrs until something worse happened that made me accept that she is just evil. So I stopped being nice and started recording her dog barking. I reported her to the HOA, and the HOA must have sent her a warning because she finally started telling the dog to shut up! The HOA has in the past sent warnings about dog noise leading to a fine, but I never reported her for the sake of being a 'nice neighbor'.

Fuck being nice!!! Being nice got me growled and violently barked at in my yard for 2 yrs! Now when that stupid dog starts up, I turn my phone volume all the way up, obviously stand right by the fence we share, and click record. My phone makes and audible 'recording sound'. It is pretty easy to record her dog's violent shrieks, and she knows it! Now she starts dragging that shitbeast inside. Good! You love letting your dog bark?! Let it violently bark in your house and give YOU a headache, stank neighbors!

Barking Demons The sound of dogs barking is the most annoying sound

I live in a duplex that used to be an old house. Behind us is this little apartment type building. They have two or three dogs. Luckily my room is the opposite end of where they live. Today I was in the restroom, and I just heard nonstop barking. Apparently they were washing their dogs, and the mutt would not shut up.

I literally had to leave the house early, because I couldn’t deal with the barking anymore. How do people deal with this nonsense? It is one of the top two worst sounds to hear. It’s between sirens and dogs barking as to which is worse for me. Why do they bark at everything? It makes me physically angry to hear it.

Barking Demons The worst sounds come from dogs

Barking sounds awful, but honestly so does whimpering, yapping, howling, and literally any other noise that comes from these mutts. Most other pets at least make a cute noise. But dogs could never. In fact, just earlier today there’s an emergency vehicle going off in the distance. Then I hear a dog in my neighborhood start howling and screaming while the emergency vehicle’s siren is going off. I had my window open for fresh air when I heard this, so I was really confused when I heard this howl/scream because I knew emergency vehicles didn’t sound like that. Only to realize that it’s some mutt trying to mimic the noise for whatever reason, except it sounded much worse. So stupid. Dogs truly do make the worst noises, and nobody can tell me otherwise.

Barking Demons Why is that dogs can bark really loudly and disturb neighbors, but if I were to blast my music, I'd get in trouble?

I even saw a post where a neighbor of a dog owner recorded the barking, and played it back on full blast to get back at the dog owners, but he was the one who got in trouble. How does this make sense? Besides occasional emergency vehicles, all I would hear at my apartment would be birds and other animals if it wasn't for dogs in the neighborhood. I can't wait to move to the country one day, away from everyone.

Also I don't understand how people can have dogs in apartments. Imagine having to bring them down all those stairs multiple times a day to let them go to the bathroom. Who wants to schedule their days based on when a filthy annoying animal has to go to bathroom?

They are easily the most heinous breed of dog imaginable. They fucking eat everything. Hell, they shouldn’t even be REMOTELY legal to own. As a dog hater, I wish this specific breed of hellspawn to be banned from being legal to own as a pet.

Barking Demons Its odd how Dog Barking don't tick a lot of people off. It should

Dog Barking is the most annoying sound ever. Why so many overlook it and continue to praise dogs. Is odd. I got dogs barking in my neighborhood loud and often. Dog Barking should tick more people off. The people who don't get ticked off by it have a backwards mindset. They get so warped in the dog culture that they don't realize the flaws. It sucks a lot.

Barking Demons Can't stand dogs

I need validation because I am surrounded by fucking dog lovers (except my husband) and need to rant BIG.

Dog owners are so entitled it's insane. They need to have their own dog country. I live in a small town in the US and they have a backyard that borders mine so basically diagonal from my bedroom window. These fucking people every single day have their dog out back barking for HOURS non-stop. I mean this dog genuinely barks without even a breath for hours. The owners clearly have a dog door and leave the house. I contacted non emergency police twice at the beginning of the year which did nothing. Finally I called the animal control officer and he finally went to their house and warned them of a citation if they keep it up. I've had 3 somewhat peaceful days and now another neighbor on the other side of the street has a fucking mutt barking nonstop. Does it ever end?

Let's recap from my last post why dogs are the absolute worst and their owners deserve to go live secluded:

  1. They let them bark for hours outside and do NOTHING.

  2. They leave windows/doors open and allow them to bark at every single thing passing by without telling them to stop so I can never have a walk in peace.

  3. They let them bark and tug on the leash while I'm walking by without apologizing or stopping it and lets not forget about the owners who let them run off leash. Don't approach me without consent. I had one viciously tug at the leash and bark super loud and the owner just laughed it off saying he really wants us. WHAT THE ??

  4. They get offended when you don't love their dog, pet it, or compliment it. THIS ONE BURNS ME. My husband's family all fucking love dogs and they let their dogs run around while we're there and don't tell it no or to stop. Everytime we eat dinner, they don't block the dog from going to the dining area so it sits there begging for food and licking my leg. It almost jumped into my chair once. They know I fucking despise them and once the dog was jumping on my leg and licking me. I kept shooing it and she was literally just sneering the whole time not even saying anything. Ever since, I literally never go to their houses anymore. My husband also fucking hates them so he doesn't either. It's not even worth it.

  5. They expect everyone to be okay with dogs and not set boundaries if I say I'm allergic or don't want them near me. You have to love dogs or you're fucking evil I guess.

  6. They call themselves "dog moms" YOU'RE NOT A FUCKING MOM DON'T EVEN TRY TO COMPARE (I am an actual mom btw) and pamper them with spas and bubble parties. Look up the dog spa in Scottsdale. Holy fuck it's embarrassing and those people shouldn't be allowed to have money. There are people genuinely struggling financially and then we have these fucking people spending on a fucking dog who doesn't even have awareness. I can't even tell you the amount of fucking stupid ass influencers getting rich off staying at home jobless taking care of their "kids" and acting like it's a hard life. DOGS NOT KIDS. Why do people spend thousands on a fucking animal I will never understand. I will be pet free FOREVER.

  7. They don't pick up after them! I literally NEVER walk through grass or fields anymore because of it. Fucking nasty evil. I saw a dog sniffing through my front yard rocks one time and I swear if I would've seen it go to the bathroom I would've screamed at them.

  8. They bring their dogs EVERYWHERE in public. For example, a lady had a disgusting old terrier in her arms at a subway ordering food. NOT EVEN SERVICE DOGS!!

  9. LASTLY, they don't fucking train them at all! They jump on people, bark, and genuinely behave like SHIT and the owners say "well that's what a dog does" I can't even tell you how many fucking people on nextdoor call me a liar and over dramatic and a Karen for complaining about the constant barking. It's sickening how they rush to the perpetrators defense. Why do WE have to get over it?? How about you fucking have common decency and train your stupid ass disgusting mutt.

P.S. dogs are just generally fucking disgusting. I don't think they should be allowed in apartments that's fucking crazy and they need to start a protest at City Hall to start citing people immediately for not picking up dog waste and letting them bark and bringing them in public. It's out of control. We need dna testing or some shit.

Have a great day and thank you for listening to my rant. BTW I am SUPER fucking pissed right now because of a barking dog last night.

Barking Demons People act like being able to tolerate dog barking is virtuous

It's like some kind of weird pick-me behavior. If the topic of dog barking comes up, or if some dog is actively barking like crazy incessantly, there are non dog owners who will say stuff like "oh I don't really mind it" or "it doesn't really bother me" or "oh I didn't even notice."

Like oh wow ok cool dude good for you, you're such a virtuous and chill person that you can tolerate illegal incessant dog barking? Weird flex. They're not necessarily defending the barking, moreso highlighting their tolerance for it and in turn almost implying that you are sorta weak or less chill or less virtuous than them for being bothered by it.

It's like someone running around stabbing everyone and responding by being like "oh I didn't even notice, it's whatever." Ok dork. I could tolerate the inappropriate behavior as well, I just don't think we should have to lol.

Just something I've noticed and wanted to vent.

Barking Demons The post about the dog interrupting sexy time

Reminded me of something. We all know that a good majority of dogs demand 24/7 attention. And if they are not getting it or if the attention is directed elsewhere, they will absolutely make themselves sick on purpose just to get it. How people tolerate these animals is a constant question.

Barking Demons “That’s what dogs do!”

I think its hilarious when a dog is doing some undesirable behavior like barking at everything to the point where you cannot comfortably live your life and people go “Well, thats what dogs do!”

When my partner had his dog (thank god he rehomed the thing), it would see any movement and scream and bark for minutes on end. We could not have the windows or blinds open ever. Awful. He would say “its just what she does. Alerting us for intruders” First of all, the intruder is a leaf that moved? Second, its so normal for dogs to bark at nothing and everything that I would not even look outside at a point and then what if an actual intruder comes in? Third, his dog was the most cowardly thing because itd scream its head off and the second a person would come in, it would run under a table SHAKING. Like are you serious? Luckily, he eventually realized she could not live with us anymore as she kept barking and showed aggression towards other animals.

My MIL has a dog similar to his and when she has anyone over the house, she puts the dog in their sunroom and the dog is literally screeching the whole time. I don’t get it. My FIL scolds her and she gets upset like “Thats what dogs do!”

A dog shits inside, eats it, vomits it up as a hybrid poopbarf, “Thats what dogs do!” A dog destroys your furniture “Thats what dogs do!” A dog bites a kid “Well, dogs bite” A dog will bark its head off at anything. “Thats what dogs do!” If all a dog does is these horrible things, why would I ever want it in my vicinity?

Barking Demons I’m starting to think dog owners don’t hear barking…

Guys I actually don’t think dog owners hear barking anymore for whatever insane reason. We had an incident last night that left me dumbfounded.

We have some good friends from church that are total dog nuts with two massive poodle things, but they are good people and good friends so we respect our differences when it comes to dogs. No big deal. They're going through a really rough time and asked us and a few others from church to come over to their house and help them get some more opinions on their situation and then pray with them.

So we go over to their house and it’s a beautiful evening so we all sit on their back porch and oh my gosh I proceeded to have to sit in pure dog hell for 3+ hours. We’re trying to support our friends and listen to their struggles and there were at least 3 houses with multiple dogs all barking for the entire 3 hours. Not one bark here and there, constant… From each side house and the house behind them.

I couldn’t think or focus on our friends and literally no one in this group of 7 (all dog lovers or at least friendly towards dogs) said a single word. Nothing. Everyone acted like nothing was happening while me and my husband were having internal come aparts listening to this torrent of audio hell.

Get ready for the best part though… About two and a half hours into the time there a random noise pops up and our friend goes “sorry they have a lot of chickens over there” like what?! For one I own chickens and it didn’t sound like a chicken and two you’ve been forcing us to sit in constant barking (including your two big dogs) for almost 3 hours and the random single chicken/not chicken noise is what you apologize for?! That’s all they heard in those almost 3 hours. I was almost speechless.

Im genuinely starting to believe dog nutters somehow actually don’t hear barking anymore. It blows my mind…

Barking Demons Good News! A nutter tried to publicly shame a polite neighbor, but no one was having it!

So I live in a very nutter-heavy county but it seems even they are getting a bit fed up with all the barking. Tonight a nutter tried to gather online support in the community fb page by sharing a "passive aggressive" note left by a neighbor. Now, I can't quote the note directly since the nutter has since deleted the post but it went something like this: "Dear neighbor, your doggie is very cute. However, she tends to bark consistently when left on the porch in the day/night. Would you be able to help with that issue? Very much appreciated."

I went to read all the comments, expecting the usual nutter behavior of mass-shaming someone for having the audacity to dislike dog barking which is what we usually see relating to anyone complaining about anything dog-related.

However, much to my surprise every comment (~60 total) shut it down! People were quick to comment on how the note was respectful and the nutter was in the wrong for taking this to the internet to try to shame the polite neighbor instead of correcting their shitty dogs' behaviors. Other dog owners commented saying how the nutter is acting entitled, passive-aggressive, etc for trying to complain about a respectful note when clearly they're in the wrong and their behavior makes "good dog owners look bad".

Ofc the nutter was defending themselves throughout the comments saying how their "huskies NEVER bark" 🙄 and gaslighting the neighbor by saying it's a one-time occurrence, that one adjacent neighbor in this apartment complex didn't hear anything so it clearly didn't actually happen and "IF it's any issue" they'd address it

Anyway, they deleted the post within an hour after getting publicly obliterated. It was a very entertaining hour for me at least. I get so used to expecting nuttery that I was shocked to see so many people actually rally behind the neighbor instead of shaming them for leaving a note. This doesn't change that this place is overrun with nuttery and ill-behaved dogs, but I'll take the small wins where I can get 'em.

Barking Demons Told a Dog to stfu again

The little demons were barking last night once again close to midnight… opened my window and said “Shut the fuck up, people are trying to sleep!”

Owner brought them inside… again. Played barking noises for 10 minutes and turned my speaker toward their house, then went back to sleep, didn’t hear a peep for the rest of the night.

I’m honestly just going to keep doing this until they get the point and train dog owners to train their dogs…

Barking Demons dogs are a sensory nightmare.

I'm autistic and have PTSD, and dogs are so hard for me to be around. My mom's dog in particular will bark extremely loudly, and it's totally unpredictable. I startle every single time. She scares me so bad sometimes that I just start crying. It's gotten to the point that if I hear someone walking outside, my fingers automatically go to my ears because I know she will start barking. I swear to God her barks echo :/

Besides the barking, the sound of this dog cleaning herself is awful. It's like slurping and grunting and heavy breathing and it makes me want to scream.

And the smell of her is so bad too.My mom always says she doesn't give her baths because "she just smells bad again anyway!!".. Except humans are like that too aren't we? 😐 But you still have to bathe.

Overall it's just.. frustrating. And uncomfortable. And scary.
