This episode where carmen wears this teddy, anyone got any ideas where i could get one like this from?? i'm not the best at finding clothes outside a thrift shop LOL
Hope i get some of you that are super versed in finding look alikes, id love to own it!!
also dont hate on carmen she's so fucking funny, and the point of her character is to be self absorbed and kinda annoying😂 i'm on s3 (first time) so don't spoil anything if she does get worse LOL

Very confused because the Stappord House in season 1 looks realllly similar to the house that Spence Westmore is now in (and Carmen is working in) in season 2. It’s throwing me off! Or am I wrong? ….

Was such a useless and annoying character.
I think they should’ve done something else rather than giving Carmen a daughter 🙄 it was almost like they said new character let’s make her terrible 🤣 they gave her nothing to make you root for her or any real purpose. Everything could have still happened the way it did without her in the show.
Unrelated it’s funny how my favorite characters aren’t the maids lol Adrian, Evelyn and Genevieve

I’m not a fan of the acting. I can’t quite put my finger on it. I just watched her confront Nick about his secret and I felt nothing. It’s like her scenes fall flat.
Am I crazy? Cause I thought she was ok in s1.

okay so ive only watched season 1 and 2 and a good bit of season 3 becuase I just don’t have much time and usually don’t feel like watching devious maids in my free time but I love the show.
Ethan freaks me out so badly is he weird? like does he become bad????? I want spoilers like… he was really creepy in season 2 he was straight up stalking Ty. I don’t know if this is understandable but someone tell me if he’s bad or like why he’s not if he doesn’t become bad later on.

i haven’t seen a post that describes hatred towards rosie enough. she is so fucking annoying with her stupid ass baby voice and whiny attitude and that egregiously annoying inflection that she does with every single fucking sentence. i have to mute her everytime she comes on screen.
i hate her with the power of a thousand burning suns and maybe it’s unreasonable but i don’t care. i deadass wanna knock her out every time she opens that stupid mouth of hers.
the actress in general sucks ass i don’t know why shows keep casting her. she was also on once upon a time and she entirely ruined the season. i HATE her.
thank you

I want to believe that they are related! The way they huddled up together proudly when their kid extorts the woman they drugged!

I’m almost done with my first watch of devious maids and it was good, I liked it but I couldn’t really get into it. I’ve rewatched desperate housewives probably 6 times but I don’t think I’ll rewatch DM. For those that have seen both, what are your thoughts?
r/DeviousMaids • u/baddiosa • Mar 24 '26
Im currently watching DM for the first time after I've binge watched DH and I'm now in S4 and noticed that Dani's mom, which is Carmen biological daughter, is the same girl that is also Zoila's sister...so Zoila and Carmen are actually cousins?

So far my favorite is Zoila and my least favorite is Rosie

Him and Evelyn made the show!! I seriously hated Adrian and now he’s turned into my absolute favorite.

First time watcher:
Am I the only one who can not stand her? She talks and acts like a child and it drives me insane

This is the most disgusting thing I’ve seen in so long. Him subjecting her to kink without consent is already so bad. But also the scenes are so cringe and forced. It’s like someone read one article about kink and then forced it into the show. Then of course Carmen is greedy (she’s by far the worst maid of the main ones) so she agrees immediately.
It’s SOOOOO bad

First time watcher! I really liked season 1 and finished it in less than a week but now I’m on season 2 and STRUGGLING! The storylines are kinda meh? I’m sooooo over baby detective Rosie’s facial expressions this season.

I'm rewatching season 3 and I can't believe how awful the maids are to Marisol about her book!
Zoila and Carmen both rolling their eyes when she says that her book came out and is on the New York Times bestseller list.
That's a huge achievement and her so called best friends are mocking her about it and then complaining that she spends so much time with Evelyn? No wonder when we see how excited and supportive Evelyn is of her book. Marisol also just helped Evelyn get justice for Barrett as well so Evelyn's probably feeling particularly close to her.
And then Rosie telling Zoila that she looks fat but it's "okay to eat her feelings" after Pablo died - wtf?! Who talks to their friends like that?

I wish the show had kept Deion, he fit the Powells perfectly and she loved him so much. Taking him away after everything they’d already endured with their son felt unnecessarily cruel.
If they weren’t going to bring him back, a pregnancy storyline for Evelyn would’ve worked too. Watching her navigate the mix of shock, joy, and the fear of another loss would’ve added to her character growth and she deserved the chance to be a mother again.

The Powells pretty much carried the whole show. Their dynamic is comedy genius. Their character development is also incredible. I love how they go from villains at the beginning of the series to pure comic relief. Their storylines are also the most compelling
r/DeviousMaids • u/bagus98 • Feb 26 '26
I loved the show. But I feel like there were some things that they could have done better. I wish Valentina and Remi had more screen time

I recently rewatched all four seasons of devious maids. I loved the show back then and still love it now. Some very lovable characters/actors (e.g., Evelyn and Adrian, Genevieve and Zoila). Some plots are questionable but still mostly believable.
Since Eva Longoria was the executive producer of DM, I decided to watch desperate housewives (never watched it before). I am two seasons in, and man, why on earth did DH get 8 seasons while DM 4? The pace of DH was so slow, and most plots are just borderline ridiculous. Most characters are annoying and not lovable (e.g., Susan, Paul Young, Andrew van DeCamp). I hope the show improves over time.
Anyway, rant over. I just want justice for DM. It's a shame that it was cancelled.
Please tell me I am not the only one who feels this way. :'(
