Help me understand!

New to this case and feel like I must be missing a lot of info. How is it possible this Allen guy never committed any other crimes? No history of anything? Nothing violent, not even a bar fight or something? And just escalated to double murder? And then never did it again? This is truly mind blowing to me. I’m sure this guy did it but it’s just so shocking this guy went from zero to double homicide.

And what is the suspected motive? He just always wanted to do it and finally had the opportunity? He snapped?

I’m so very confused.

“Societal rhetoric “ isn’t what tells us that escalation is a thing. Decades of data from researching killers and rapists does.

It is extremely unusual that someone’s first incident would result in a crime like this. Not just because it was a homicide. But moreso because it was done in the middle of the day, in a public place outside and it was TWO victims at once.

All of those indicate a level of confidence as well as a skill set derived from experience.

I don’t think Allen has either . I also don’t think he is the killer. Not because I have any sort of empathy or emotions regard for him , but moreso because not a single thing about him fits the profile of this crime. I’m in the RL camp. I think LE dropped the ball, there is a massive amount of politics happening here and they needed a conviction.

The use of genetic dna doesn’t agree with you. Many one and done killers have been found recently because of genetic ancestry testing

This wasn’t one a done. It was 2 victims at once. Also, I’m aware of developments in recent years with DNA and genealogical investigations. I consulted with both the FBI and the Santa Barbara police department on the Golden State Killer case in exactly that area. Due to GEDMatch and other DNA databases we have been able to find justice for many victims. But no, we haven’t found any cold case homicides that were the result of kidnapping minor strangers that were “one and done”. If you feel like we have - please comment links to that information. The vast majority are serial killers and completely different situations regarding the victims relationship to the killer.

Listen to DNA ID. There’s TONS of one and done killers being caught with DNA right now. Sorry that facts don’t agree with you here.
