Help me understand!

New to this case and feel like I must be missing a lot of info. How is it possible this Allen guy never committed any other crimes? No history of anything? Nothing violent, not even a bar fight or something? And just escalated to double murder? And then never did it again? This is truly mind blowing to me. I’m sure this guy did it but it’s just so shocking this guy went from zero to double homicide.

And what is the suspected motive? He just always wanted to do it and finally had the opportunity? He snapped?

I’m so very confused.

No, I’m suggesting there are plenty of places to get actual facts, not the prosecution narrative. I would suggest reading the Franks memo and the appeal for starters.

The state doesn’t have a “narrative”, it has a timeline. It has matching extraction marks on a bullet. It has his car. It has his confessions. It has him lying to his wife on video. It has his description of witnesses on the trail.

The coroner could only a 12 hour window for time of death. There is no proof that the girls weren't removed and returned to the bridge area. (Not saying they were necessarily). The timeline is built on the assumption that RA did it.

There is 100% proof they weren’t moved. The huge puddles of gelatinized blood

The fact that they were likely killed there doesn’t prove they were there the whole time.

It also doesn’t prove that aliens didn’t visit them in the evening either.

You Allen supporters just come up with wild ideas and say things “could’ve happened” when there’s absolutely zero proof or any evidence.

Have you ever heard of the word “reasonable“?  This is what the court system works with. They don’t work with fantasy or ideas that have no evidence.

-Is it reasonable to believe that the girls were murdered almost immediately?  Yes.

-Is it reasonable to believe someone took both girls away, dropped Libbys phone at crime scene on their way out and then came back later (without being seen) and killed girls exactly in the same place where the phone was?  Oh yeah, that makes soooooo much sense.

There is zero proof or any evidence that RA had anything to do with the murders. There isn’t even any evidence that BG had anything to do with the murders. I do not find that the states theory that one person forced the girls to go down the hill, take off their clothes, walk across the creek, and slit their throats in broad daylight in an area with homes and people nearby remotely reasonable. I don’t even think it’s possible let alone probable. The state is supposed to meet the burden of beyond reasonable doubt. They should have provided enough evidence to eliminate any alternative possibility that could explain the evidence. It’s a perfectly explanation that the phone was tuned off or its battery died. I actually think that is a far more rational explanation than the claim Abby knew it recorded evidence of the person who killed them so she hid it in a shoe before dying on top of it. But for some reason it wasn’t able to be located by family or LE.

😆 this would make a great fictional story.

However, this is real life and unfortunately Richard murdered Abby and Libby.
