Help me understand!

New to this case and feel like I must be missing a lot of info. How is it possible this Allen guy never committed any other crimes? No history of anything? Nothing violent, not even a bar fight or something? And just escalated to double murder? And then never did it again? This is truly mind blowing to me. I’m sure this guy did it but it’s just so shocking this guy went from zero to double homicide.

And what is the suspected motive? He just always wanted to do it and finally had the opportunity? He snapped?

I’m so very confused.

So, let me get this straight…if someone commits a murder, they must have committed other crimes before hand?

Murders happen, everyday, by people who have never committed a crime before that. Every single day.  It’s not confusing.

I 100000000% believe Allen is guilty but OP has a point. A violent murder with a blade with 2 young capable victims that went unsolved for so long was a wild first (possible) murder. This type of crime is not random, he thought about it and planned something violent toward women for a long time. Another commenter is right, maybe it was his first murder but almost certainly not his first crime. That type of rage and violent sexual energy builds.

I do not think Allen is guilty and I 10000000% know he did not receive a fair trial BUT I so appreciate you acknowledging that this crime was not random or typical in just about any way. Crime stats tell us nothing about anomalous crimes like this.

That is part of what makes Allen a particularly bad suspect - no history of violence towards women or children. No CSAM or violent/sadistic porn on his devices. No evidence of any planning whatsoever. For a guy who “confessed” 60 plus times, he sure didn’t explain a single thing about why them, why then, why there, why in that manner, why with weird ritualistic signatures at the crime scene. It’s almost like they got the wrong guy?

It’s inaccurate and misleading to say they didn’t find violent porn or CSAM in his Internet history. His search history was not made public in the trial. I don’t believe it’s been released via FOIA.

There were no weird ritualistic signatures at the crime scene. It was a pathetic attempt by a pathetic man to pathetically cover up his pathetic crime.

I beg you to step away from this crime.

If there was CSAM on his devices there 100% would have been a motion in limine to exclude or admit that evidence. It’s inaccurate and misleading and naive to claim otherwise. Same with violent porn.

Oh my, and you beg me to step away? Go clutch your pearls elsewhere while you persist in defending this weak conviction that will be reversed in our lifetimes to the lasting shame of the State of Indiana.

Right. An unspent round at the scene that conveniently matched the gun found at his house. I have reasonable doubt.

RA's interrogations had to be redacted because they asked him repeatedly if he knew the K family. Why ask him that if they were cleared?
