Help me understand!

New to this case and feel like I must be missing a lot of info. How is it possible this Allen guy never committed any other crimes? No history of anything? Nothing violent, not even a bar fight or something? And just escalated to double murder? And then never did it again? This is truly mind blowing to me. I’m sure this guy did it but it’s just so shocking this guy went from zero to double homicide.

And what is the suspected motive? He just always wanted to do it and finally had the opportunity? He snapped?

I’m so very confused.

Well to be fair we don’t know that he actually never committed any other crimes - I suppose his DNA wasn’t in codis but that doesn’t mean much.

Also “one & done” type killers aren’t as rare as they’re made out to be - a lot of unsolved crimes are being solved by genealogy and identifying perps that haven’t been charged for previous violent crimes.

RA was a drunk, mentally disturbed little man. This had probably been simmering in him for quite a while until the “right” moment came along and so so sadly Libby & Abby were in the worst place at the worst time.

yep. He was drunk. And like you said, not every killer is a serial killer. They just snap.

That isn’t at all what that person was saying but go ahead keep being obtuse and simping for a weirdo child killer.

This person probably sends him fan mail. I don’t understand why people are still supporting him. He was convicted, in a fair trial, of one of the most heinous crimes you can commit and there are still people out there trying to say he didn’t do it. It leads me to believe that people who support him are also extremely sick.
