hi! tried playing it earlier and its doing "the thing™" and nothing ive tried has worked

ive tried:

reinstalling

running as admin

running as admin with full screen optimizations disabled, in compatability mode for both windows 7 and 8

the alt tab thing

running as admin with full screen optimizations disabled, in compatability mode for both windows 7 and 8 from the launcher.exe and not the fawkes one this time

specifically allowing it free access through the windows defender firewall

reinstalling easy anticheat

please help i am out of ideas

Nearly mastered, then I need to T6 it .. especially as I took the mods off a T6 ;)

Just T6'd this bad boy. Still need a Fatal Phantasm stock for the extra 15% damage .. I have used a lot of pistols in this game, but this seems the best. Despite some poor shooting ;)

And yes I always do this in Bloodbath Threat 3 .. just for consistency

I'm on windows 10 and it seems the launcher has issues with anything that isn't windows 11.

I've tried to update the game multiple time and it stops at 49%.

I had this when installing the first time and it installed after running as admin.

that hasn't done anything for the patch though.

I'm going to try again tomorrow, any ideas for workarounds?

I tried their discord too, and there were a couple of posts saying the same but they had no repsones.

i played the original defiance and when it came out defiance 2050 and stopped shortly before they shutdown. i was reliving nostalgia and looked up defiance only to find that it is apparently back now. i want to get back into it but was wondering was there any major changes/ things added or removed? or is the gameplay pretty close to the original?

Can I level up an overall weapon proficiency (e.g. LMGs) while having the equipped LMG already mastered? Or do I have to swap to another non-mastered LMG to keep progressing the overall LMG category?
