Tbf Magik vs Phoenix Ikki has a chance albeit a major reason is because the former’s other popular-ish opponents have more popular matchups that are more likely in turn (like Hellboy for Nero and Meta Knight for Riku. Although in regards to the latter matchup Meta Knight vs Zero is still popular but Meta Knight vs Riku is also pretty popular and overall on the same level of popularity as the former that I can see Death Battle choosing to do it instead)

I like to believe so (in fact, it's my last hope aside from Seiya waiting for Usagi's return or... Fuck it, I'd even take Goku vs Seiya at this rate) but it kind of falls in the same category as Shiryu vs Piccolo where it's a perfectly workable match up that's kinda invisible to most people.

Like, I've never seen it brought up outside of the sub neither have I seen trailers of it. At this rate it ain't unlikely we end up losing to Riku
