What does Croteam think about Stop Killing Games?

It's an international campaign trying to stop publishers from bricking games they've sold to all customers as a form of planned obsolescence. They have an EU Citizens' Initiative which, if it gets 1 million signatures, would have the EU Commission examine the practice of companies adding killswitches to games they can turn on at any time, making games into bricks while keeping customers' money. As do many developers, including Running with Scissors, MolleIndustria, Landfall, Dolphin emulator developers, and the Cookie Clicker developer

The founder of this is a fan of Croteam's games, so it'd be good to see Croteam in support of this, especially as a European developer!

they don't care, it's a bunch of assholes. I've already written about “License verification error” - they just ignore it. I wish a speedy bankruptcy to this poor team.

They must care to well degree otherwise they wouldn’t release most of their games on GOG (which I appreciate) that doesn’t mean they may have a lackluster support team, I don’t know.

But I can tell you at least all The Talos Principle games work so, which with game you were encountering that issue and what are the specs of you PC, and what Windows do you have installed

And their Talos series is awesome I really really really hope they continue it and for sure hope they don’t end up in bankrupt
