EDIT2: Just realised that this post is about the same hater we've been going back and forth with for months on Tumblr. I'm genuinely starting to worry about them, I hope they're doing ok.
EDIT1 (CAHH quoted here):
"I thought these therapists studied in universities/colleges to get a master's degree in either social work, counseling, or psychology to catch on concerning behaviors in individuals. If these therapists are counselors for couples, I fear they'll dismiss actual abnormal behavior in partners/spouses all because of "woe me, woe me" sob stories instead of calling them out on their toxic behavior. It's something that they haven't caught on Stolas being a covert narcissist throughout the series. I'm aware there are therapists who are biased.
My own therapist that I've been having appointments with isn't one of them. I did told her about the shows, the rabid fanbase and the problematic/questionable writing choices that fortunately she didn't caught herself in the dumpster fire out of sheer curiosity and not be biased. She did however widen her eyes when I told her how the stans be sending death threats, harassing, and doxing people for trivial matters. I know she would 100% call Stolas out for his toxic behavior towards Blitzø and others plus neglecting his own teenage daughter.
The shows are the plague that anyone who watches them have their brains melted that all logic goes out the window and all academic knowledge becomes obsolete. My bestie hasn't been a victim of the shows herself because she admitted that she wouldn't last that long watching it either way. Yes, therapists are biased but they shouldn't let it get in the way of their patient's progress on improving their mental health, that's a problem.
Stolas isn't going to change his ways and his victim Blitzø is going to be dismissed because of his master's "poor sad" life when these therapists legit doesn't see any problems with Stolas. Fuck his sob story to "justify" his infidelity."
POST BODY: I mean, this is a room you opened the door to, walked into, left the door open, swallowed the key and then claimed you couldn't get out of. Imagine dedicating so much of your life to hating on a TV show, realising it's affecting your mental health and then instead of reflecting that this much hate is both a waste of your life and damaging to your emotional regulation, you go to therapy to gossip with a professional about the gay demon show they haven't watched.
In fact, imagine being a licensed therapist who has trained, sworn the Hippocratic oath and paid through the nose to learn how to help those are struggling, only to be met with 50 minutes of drivel about how horrible an indie animation is from someone who specifically decided to dedicate their online presence to hating it and is now surprised they are unhappy.
I can't even fathom the hypocrisy in releasing an internet write-up that barely anyone will ever see about how the Hellaverse is somehow an indicator or a cause of therapists dismissing abuse and how it's harmful, without ever once considering that by wasting a professional's time that could instead be used for real problems (yours, or another's), you are doing harm yourself. Madness.
