I have a buddy of mine who's made a lord of pain burn deck and I was wondering if anyone had an idea on how to beat a lord of pain burn deck????

Assuming you're in the wrong subreddit here. But for brackets 3-4

[[Witchbane orb]] or any of the other cards that grant you hexproof or shroud.

Unless you're trying to run a cEDH deck.
