Discussion First time going to progressive field Question

I’m going to Mets vs guardians August 4-6 .
Should I buy tickets right now or if I wait till the week of to buy will it be much more ? The reason I wanted to wait was so I could see the pitchers for those games .

If it was a weekend series I'd say buy now. But it's weekdays so I think you'll be fine waiting for the pitching matchups

What kind of seats are you going for? Do you want tickets right behind home plate or do you just want to be in the ballpark? Those are weekday games. You’ll have no issue getting tickets closer to game time. If you’re looking for premium seats, I’d buy them as soon as you see a deal that seems good. If you’re just looking for any regular seat, you can definitely wait if you want to

My own experience is that the day of the game for night games, prices fall quickly on or about noon on StubHub. Others experiences may vary.

If you are looking at buying direct from the Guards, then I’d suggest sooner than later. The Guards have demand pricing so as the game nears and more tickets sell, the prices go up.
