[Stebbins] Angel Martínez exited with left foot inflammation. Martínez is going to get an MRI, Stephen Vogt said. First came up a few games ago and was able to play through it. Aggravated it on a play today.

Hopefully it’s not plantar fasciitis. That can linger for a long time

I would say Watson, but we'd be trading one switch hitter that strikes out and hits for power for a lefty that strikes out but hits for power.

I would also like to give Watson a shot but it doesn’t seem like they are inclined to do so right now

Kwan will be back after tomorrow’s game so there really won’t need to be a call up unless he is placed on IL or am i missing something???

If angel is going on the IL I wouldn’t be surprised if they wanted one of the more interesting guys than Fairchild up for near everyday ABs

Na they already said he'd be back for NY.

yeah that’s what i’m saying so if Angel goes on IL, they have a full roster…. right? but if Angel stays, someone goes back down when Kwan returns…. that’s how i see it

It's already in the works and will be completed around 6pm tomorrow.

Bringing Stevie back and putting Angel into rehab.

And none of our OF options in Columbus have acceptable splits against left handed pitching(though Valera have higher better splits this year). We might need to put Fry again on the outfield against leftie starters.

He’s been hitting like shit for a month so maybe that partially explains it

Okay, that may be the context to his flailing lately.
What a crappy night, good turnout at Progressive though.
