He will get more seasoning in AAA. The real question is what do they do when Arias is ready to come back. Someone has to be traded or DFAd. Probably Arias himself, but who knows.

Halpin in RF is a huge vote of support for Schnee’s defense in CF. He absolutely deserves it too

i think the choice was fairly obvious! you now have positioned yourself with elite corner outfield defense and Schnee has played more CF than corner but let’s be real, he’s proved to be a damn good center fielder!!! can’t wait to watch

Because he has been successful where he is, with lower pressure. It is a huge plus if you have someone as productive as Rocchio in the 9 spot ready to get on base and turn the lineup over.

He's also been a menace with 2 strikes, and most pitching staffs expect to be able to fill up the strike zone against the bottom of the lineup. Rocchio has been able to take advantage of more fastballs when down in the count, which he would likely see less of higher in the lineup.

I love watching Messick play. Left handed, high socks, quick delivery. Even when we lose, I love to see young guys come up from the minors and have an impact.
