Currently Cade has 20 saves and José has 20 steals, who do you think finishes the season with more?

I think Cade will have more saves and Jose will have more steals.

Jose, obviously.

Jose can get 1-2 steals per game if he really wanted but Cade can only get a save in a specific situation once a game

It will be close. José is on pace for a career high, more than 44 he set last year. And it's easy to see Cade reaching 45 saves especially if we keep scoring 3-4 runs a game.

In a shocking twist of events, Jose Ramirez will finish our season as a top closer with 43 saves (and 51 homers) and Cade Smith will steal home to walk off our last game of the season clinching the division and finishing one above Jose Ramirez with the most steals on the season at 47.

Jose Ramirez *2024 season. Remember when they didn't allow Cleveland to finish the season and Josey was 1 home run and 1 double shy of a 40/40/40 season. (Home runs, doubles and stolen bases)

My answer is Josey, there's Josey can't do.

… 40/40/40/120 even. If he’d gotten the 40s in that last game, he almost certainly would also go from 118 to 120 RBI. That would have been a signature achievement that potentially could have put him over the top if his HOF case was looking close.

No way Cade gets more than 20 steals, so I’m going with Josey on that one. Now that I think of it, Josey probably isn’t getting more than 20 saves, so Cade should be fine.

Probably Jose since he has more steal opportunities. The bats have gotten better, but it’s too inconsistent for the team to always give Cade a save opportunity

I would say it’s more likely that Cade has tons of save opportunities because of how bad/inconsistent the offense is, we don’t blow teams out

José, because he has a lot more opportunities.
