Big Boy
Hi, my kiddo is obsessed with trains and we’ll be in Cheyenne on Friday/Monday (Laramie over the weekend). Is Big Boy currently visible? If we drive by the UP yard on our way up to Laramie? Didn’t know if he’s covered or out in the open.
We’re going to try to see him Monday when he heads east - but would like to avoid crowds/not fight for parking, etc. Best place to watch him when he leaves?

I hope you and your son got to or get to see that Big Boy train! 🚂 😊I know absolutely nothing about trains lol! But my “little” brother who is 19 has always been obsessed with them since he was a baby. We’re all from CT and my parents adopted him when he was 4 days old and later came to found he has Autism (amongst other things) But since I’ve moved here to Hillsdale, WY about 10 years ago, my family is finally “good” enough to travel here and have visited the past 2 summers🙏 This is such super awesome info and great ideas for us/him this summer! Always good to have a couple extra ideas in our back pocket😉! Especially because we all know how exciting Hillsdale is! lol!! I hope everyone has a great safe and fun summer🙂
