Big Boy

Hi, my kiddo is obsessed with trains and we’ll be in Cheyenne on Friday/Monday (Laramie over the weekend). Is Big Boy currently visible? If we drive by the UP yard on our way up to Laramie? Didn’t know if he’s covered or out in the open.

We’re going to try to see him Monday when he heads east - but would like to avoid crowds/not fight for parking, etc. Best place to watch him when he leaves?

It's in the steam shop, not visible to the public. They might pull it out for test runs before they head east in memorial day

I thought it already headed East? We saw it leave Cheyenne 3/29, not sure but I thought it was gonna be on a tour for awhile…

It was going west, that was the first half of the tour.
