Banking Rejected ACH question

You know, I'm actually not convinced the ACH will be rejected just because Progressive said it will. It's partly dependent on Capital One. The last time I was told an ACH would be returned (by the sending bank), it never happened. Progressive does allow one time manual payments from a savings account, and Capital One will let you make payments from a savings account, so the ACH might go through after all. Though you might want to change the payment account afterwards.

Also wanted to point out, the Progressive website states:

If the pay in full option isn't right for you, we'll give you a discount for setting up automatic payments from a checking account, credit card, or debit card. (This discount cannot be combined with pay in full discounts).

Looks like you can use a credit card as well and still get the autopay discount... so why not use your Savor or another credit card instead?
