Nah lol, they'll just decline the payment and you'll get an email about it. I get a fair amount of declined ACH payments (I'm poor) and have yet to have anything beyond an email happen
This is relevant but I almost always move money around and am able to make those payments within a day or two, maybe it repeated declined payments and just one offs that get paid later? Not too sure, but I don't think a single payment will do that to you
