Tech Layoffs and housing/Jobs

A lot of homes going up for sale, maybe ill get lucky with my VA loan and be able to finally afford a home. Tech bros and gals with 3-4 properties can’t afford those houses. This is the perfect time for us blue collar and restaurant workers to seize affordable from the tech ruling class. Remember it was the tech industry along with black rock that caused these high rent and high cost of living issues.

They made fun of us because we didn’t have the means of securing a computer job, now they will be flooding our spaces begging us for work which we should have open doors to (:

Welcome to the blue side (: Ain’t no AI robot replacing us.

I am apart of the tech layoffs. Except I work in IT, have 0 houses, and just want to survive. 🥲

Might look at medical equipment technician. Combination of IT, mechanical, and electrical work

No, I made $75k, after being at my job 5 years, luckily AI doesn't replace my job as easily, as it's IT/Office support, etc. I just got unlucky with my recent move across the state and such.

Alright, this is going nowhere good and there's been quite enough slurs and shade thrown. Locking.

Since you’re digging in my comment history trying to figure out who I am, dm me your number so I can send you a pic of my balls, you nosey creep. Like why do people sigh through comment history? I must’ve have touched a nerve

I was curious if this was a schizo post. It wasn't hard to dig through your history, Pokemon is all you post about

How much have you spent on the kids lottery game?

Can tell you're not remotely close to being a local.

Bremerton is a military town nestled between multiple bases (just one of which, Naval Base Kitsap, is the 3rd largest base in the country) and the ship yard (the largest shore facility in the nation and one of the largest industrial facilities in the state).

The housing market and prices in the area are almost entirely driven by military and civilian gov jobs; a combination of the high demand, stability and above average wages that comes with them, and the drastically low housing supply in the area.

And sure, some folks live in Brem and commute to Seattle; a lot of those also are more military and gov workers working downtown or at the Coast Guard base.

The blue collar workers (and lower enlisted) for this area often don't even live in Bremerton or the immediate surrounding areas because it's too expensive. They're commuting 30-60+ minutes from the outskirts of Belfair, Seabeck, Tahuya, Shelton, Union, etc...(and why a lot of the housing market in those places is also highly competitive and well above the national average prices, despite them otherwise being lil podunk towns).
