Question Looking for an artist for a Gothic/Dark Academia/Romantasy book cover design

So I just finished my first round of editing on my first novel. It’s going to (hopefully) be a trilogy so I’d like to work with one artist who I can keep coming back to. Would anyone be interested?

Hello! I know you've got a ton of replies and you're overwhelmed, but I'm gonna try shoot my shot too just in case my art is something that interests you ♥️

My name is Hazel and I'm an artist from the UK with 6 years experience working as an illustrator. My works are mainly dark fantasy themed, and I'm a writer myself so really understand the importance of a genre appropriate cover and how to match the vibes of a book! Similar cover artists in the Gothic and dark academia genre match my style, such as Jana Heidersdorf (Don't Let The Forest In, May The Dead Keep You,and several lit mags). Another recently popular Dark Romantasy book with a similar vibe style to mine would be Alchemised! I've got a very textured and slightly abstract style, but with a large focus on colour and ethereality.

When working on a piece, I always include thumbnail sketches / initial ideas at the beginning so that we can ensure I'm going in the right direction before I go forward with the painting process. I'll work with you to try and find what covers you're fond of in your genre, but if you're not sure I can also provide mood boards of my own.
