Tackling Fly Tipping
Saw this BBC article saying fly-tipping is increasing while fines and prosecutions are going down.
Feels very familiar in Birkenhead — there are places where it just keeps coming back no matter how many times it’s cleared.
What do people think would actually make a difference? More enforcement, or better/cheaper waste collection?
Interested to hear local views.

I've just come back from Bidston Tesco and its awful on that road. The Eric service is too expensive. I think its £35 for 6 items now. Needs to come down to £20 in all honesty

A mixture of both enforcement and better services. Is Bulky Bob still a thing?
Thing is better services would help with domestic waste, but I’d imagine a fair amount of fly tipping is done by unlicensed waste removal, who are charging for safe / environmental disposal then fly tipping.
