Community Owened Energy Scheme

Has anyone started or have experience of a community owned energy scheme. I am very keen to do something like this but am not sure where to start?

I do think it is a good initative. I have read about community groups doing just this and would like to do it here on the Wirral. i am going to talk to my councilllors about it as lucky1pierre suggested.

Have you talked to any of the local Green councillors about it? I reckon they'd be where I'd start.

Well I get lots of leaflets though my door from the Greens but they have not brought it up as an issue. My councillors are Labour but I will do as you suggest and and ask them.
