So take it off flip it over get a pump sprayer lightly coat the side up then using distributed weight on top evenly let sit 24 hours check u might have to spray again it's ok as long as the whole top is pure solid wood not veneer in any way ok stepping pavers work real good 8x12 6x12 ok
