Where to get beetles?
I’m in the U.S. and am looking for a good beetle breeder to buy from!! I don’t have a specific species in mind but have a bioactive tropical 40 breeder open. Ideally I want something more showy but all the breeders I see recommended are either equally not recommended or don’t have anything T-T

I’ve not had bad experiences with any of the several US vendors/breeders I’ve interacted with. Just be thorough with your research and ask lots of questions and you should be fine.
Search “Coleoptera corner” - great disc server for this. Will find your info there.
Also, just to say lots of beetles will absolutely annihilate your pretty bioactive setup - many larger, showier beetles are just better suited to smaller simple setups both for that reason and for their own safety. But, it’s possible, just be aware that they will burrow and uproot all of your plants and scaping!

Guess you will have more time to research and get everything perfect for the species you like!

Following. I haven't gotten into the hobby yet but I have a couple darkling pupae beep+boppin in a 20gal succulent tank. Hoping to get a red or two to put in my leo tank as extra cleanup crew.
