Casual Conversation What was the best, most memorable food experience you had this past Ramadan?

Had homemade ice cream after lunch in Eid. It's not out of the world but somehow I can't forget the taste.

Homemade ice cream? I'm a bit envious! Would you share what flavour it was? I mean which fruit(s) was the main ingredient?

I'm not big on cooking, (or flavor) but I was invited (with family) for lunch. That host family generally cooks very deliciously. But that day it was below average. But I didn't complain, finished my food, then they brought dessert. I politely refused. They insisted on tasting it saying it's not that box ice cream, they made it in their home. First I just wanted to taste a bit. But instead I finished the whole bowl.

Not sure if it was actually that much delicious or I just didn't like other foods so the ice cream stuck with me.

It was so nice of you to not complain about food being below average that day. Some days luck (or skill) do not favour one.
