Discussion Feeling more feminine while pregnant with my baby girl??
Hello all I am back pregnant with my second!! This time I’m having a girl and the pregnancy has been VERY different from my boy. But one thing that has shocked me the most is before I even found out the gender I’ve felt extremely more feminine. When I was pregnant with my boy, and most of my life before motherhood, I didn’t care what I wore or if I dressed like Adam Sandler. I didn’t care to ever put on makeup or do my hair or about nice perfumes and lotions or getting my nails done but this time around I’m all about it even early in the first trimester. I’ve also never cared much for pink and purple but even before I got that positive I started wearing more pink and purple. I’m not sure if it’s maybe a bit more estrogen compared to when I had my boy? Maybe this is just a me thing or others have felt this way as well? Please let me know it’s very fascinating to me!!💜

I guess my girl is gonna be a “tomboy” like me, I feel exactly the same amount of feminine I did before I got pregnant.

I honestly think this is less of a gender thing and more leaning into being pregnant and a mom. When you're pregnant for the first time you have NO idea what you're in for. It made my pregnancy really difficult mentally. But now that i've been through it, I suspect the second pregnancy will feel more exciting, magical, etc. No matter the gender

Very true in trying to enjoy every moment of this pregnancy because I know it’s my last

I felt more feminine too! Started wearing cute lil headbands and clips in my hair. I started wearing long sundress skirts and began relishing in femininity. I was always more masculine, even growing up (the way i dressed, activities, and even demeanor) so it was really nice to finally get in touch with my feminine side and meet her for a bit. Now that she’s 15mo old I’ve definitely balanced back into my normal self but I feel like I still hold onto that femininity I was feeling when I was pregnant! You’re not crazy!

No, my child’s gender makes zero difference. I’m the exact same pregnant with my daughter as I was when pregnant with my son.
