We have a reputation to uphold
It’s a bad look Ravens. Rough day for the bird bros.

Believing that the famously chaotic and incompetent Raiders front office that led Crosby to want a trade in the first place was being completely transparent and the historically well-regarded Ravens front office and multiple of the best knee doctors in the country were being shady in order to sign an older, worse player is such a weird first instinct to have.

A failed physical is a failed physical.
The Ravens found out why the Cowboys stopped pursuing Crosby and pulled the plug.
It's not that deep.

He was never going to pass the physical. He just got off crutches a week ago, none of this is a surprise, as even Shefter pointed out. The Ravens knew he was coming off of surgery and still offered 2 firsts.

That’s not how these physicals work. Obviously the ravens weren’t expecting him to be 100% right now. Maybe they were expecting 65%. And maybe they found out he was at 35%. My % are arbitrarily chosen but you get the idea. Multiple doctors agreed he wasn’t where they’d expect him to be in his rehab

I disagree. Sure, it sucks for the Raiders, but they had a deal on what is literally the legal tampering period. Nothing is binding. They found out they could get Hendrickson at a price they could afford and not give up picks.
Also, I think MORE teams should rug pull the Raiders cuz it's funny as hell

Bad look indeed, and this is coming from an Eagles fan, so you know it’s bad.

Philly has been fine as an org for some time now, I think

The organization has been great, but we, the fans, don’t have a great reputation.

Everyone is freaking out about this, and yeah it's shitty for them to back out last second, but if I was a fan I'd probably be relieved we don't have to pay a multi-year expensive contract for a potential big bust. Maybe Crosby continues playing at a high level for many years, but I totally get the Ravens not wanting to take that risk
