NAIT to BCIT

Hey everyone, I’m looking at continuing my education at BCIT.

I finished a Business Administration diploma (Management) at NAIT a few years ago, and I’m trying to figure out what the pathway into the BCIT BBA would look like for someone who already has a diploma from another school.

I know BCIT usually wants you to complete one of their business diplomas first, but I’m wondering if any of my NAIT courses or work experience could help me skip part of a BCIT diploma or get some kind of advanced standing. Just trying to understand how realistic this route is before I commit.

If anyone has done something similar or knows how flexible BCIT is with transfer credits/advanced placement, I’d love to hear your experience.

TLDR: Have a NAIT Business Admin diploma, want to do BCIT’s BBA. Wondering if I can skip part of a BCIT diploma or get credit for previous courses/work experience. Looking for advice from anyone who’s done it.

You will have to do the advanced diploma in Business Management at BCIT if you want to get into the BBA
