Preparation for RADT program
I am enrolled and start in the radiation therapy program in September. I'm super excited to get started! Is there anyone currently in the program, or that has graduated from it, that can give me some recommendations on how to prepare for the program?
So far, I have been reading the Washington & Leaver "Principles of Radiation Therapy" text for the past few months and have been basically trying to learn that inside-out. Other than that, I've also brushed up on my anatomy & physiology knowledge as it has been a couple of years since I studied anything related to that.
Other than that, any recommendations? Tips? Heads-up on things to expect? Anything and everything is appreciated!

hey! i just finished my first year in the program. what you’re doing right now is very impressive honestly i don’t think many of us even had the washington and leaver book before starting. that book is heavily referenced so what you’re doing is great! if possible, try and look at some CT scans showing relational anatomy between structures just to get familiar with how they look, they can be a bit tricky. if you’re on summer break right now, try and enjoy it as much as you can since stuff will pile up during the semesters! don’t worry about learning too much about all of those concepts yet, but it’s great that you’re getting familiar with it :) feel free to ask any other questions
