CIVL ENG schedule

Hi I’m going into civil engineering this fall and my friend is aswell. Not that it matters, but is there a chance we get any courses together, as it would be great to have someone familiar in a lecture. Or are classes split up by groups in the degree?

I’m just finishing the diploma part of the program. You will be placed in different sets so you’ll probably be split for labs and tutorials. But in terms of courses you will both be taking the same load as the first year doesn’t have any elective choices

Do you know if the people in sets are placed randomly or like in order of last names? And thanks!

From what I understand the sets were completely random, they just break you into four groups
