SUNSCREEN ๐Ÿงดโ˜€๏ธ Best chemical sunscreen thats safe around the eyes? or your favourite 100% mineral sunscreen thats also good around the eyes?

Looking for sunscreen that doesn't sting around the eyes. Have mostly chemical sunscreens but they sort of sting around the eyes and usually tend to avoid putting them near eyes. However, I realised I might be missing protection around the eyes which are thinest part of skin of the face. Don't normally use mineral sunscreen as they are a bit tedious but am open for recommendations that people use that they find easy to apply under the eyes. Looking for certain chemical sunscreens thats safe under the eyes or a mineral sunscreen that you find comfortable around there.

I have really sensitive eyes when it comes to chemical sunscreens and the best I've found is La Roche Posay for sensitive eyes in the tube and Mecca To Save Face but I can't stand the smell of that one.

Eye sting is usually a reaction to some of the chemical UV filters in the sunscreen so it will help if you list some of the sunscreens you've struggled with.

I think the general suggestion will be the La Roche Posay Anthelios sunscreens but personally even those will make my eyes sting a little by the end of the day. I now just do my best around the eye area and wear sunnies outside.

Safe is different to things you personally have a reaction to.

Octocrylene makes my eyes sting so I avoid it around the eyes. I use LRP Anthelios Ultra Cream instead and use my regular sunscreen everywhere else.

I use a mineral sunscreen around my eyes because I get bad eye-stinging with most chemical sunscreens. I put the mineral one on first, let it dry a bit, and then use a chemical one for the rest of my face. I find mineral sunscreens too thick and claggy to wear all over.

I used to use a cancer council one but it's been discontinued. Now I'm using the Haruharu Wonder mineral sunscreen (purple tube) and it's working very well for me. I can rub it on my eyelids and get zero stinging, plus it absorbs quickly. It has a pronounced white cast, which is ok for me as I am quite pale, but it could be an issue for people with darker skin. The texture is excellent for a mineral sunscreen (probably because it's not purely mineral and has an SPF "booster" in it).

Thereโ€™s only three that donโ€™t sting my eyes that Iโ€™ve trued - Hamilton (my HG), Mecca to save face and whatever the LRP is called. Hopefully any of those should help
