Discussion📓 need to find a serum closest to this!

my fav serum (beauty glam salicylic clear skin serum) was unfortunately put on clearance at CW so i wanted to know what would the closest replacement be as it’s rlly hard to me to find products that don’t break me out and this was my holy grail 💔

the ingredients are:

AQUA, HAMAMELIS VIRGINIANA LEAF WATER, PROPANEDIOL, SALICYLIC ACID, PANTHENOL, SODIUM HYALURONATE, SALIX ALBA (WILLOW) BARK EXTRACT, BISABOLOL, PHYTIC ACID, ALCOHOL, CITRIC ACID

i was looking at the ordinary salicylic acid serum and it looks to be similar but not 100% any other recommendations?

The closest one I can think of is Bye Bye Breakout Salicylic Acid Concentrated Derma Serum from IT Cosmetics. You can get it from Sephora:

unfortunately my skin is sensitive to niacinamide :( thank you tho!

In that case, how about the "Beta Hydroxy Acid Serum" from The INKEY List:

This one doesn't seem to have niacinamide

I highly suspect The Ordinary’s formulation will be the simplicity you’re seeking as a replacement for your fave (sorry it’s been discontinued! I hate when that happens). The only thing I noticed is the Beauty Glam contains Panthenol, which is such a nice soothing ingredient, and it’s missing from The Ordinary’s formulation. Hopefully you have some more recommendations, but I think The Ordinary might be a close alternative.

Just a note: if you do go down The Ordinary path, be sure to stick with the clear bottle formulation and not the “anhydrous” formula which is oil-based.

Maybe The INKEY List Beta Hydroxy Acid Serum, or Paula's Choice Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliant

Omg I’m in the same boat. I’ve been stocking up whenever I go to a CW that has some left lol.

Absolutely such a fantastic product I stumbled upon last year. A fantastic price and really great formula that’s fairly unique outside of specialist stores.
