And I was very “arms crossed” about that film, and then was very surprised when I enjoyed it.

A great departure from the test of the series. It'd be decent enough on it's own, but forcing the "Child's Play" angle kind of hurts it a bit.

And yeah, she definitely looks great.

You’re absolutely right. Don Mancini created the franchise so he can do whatever he wants with it, and I’m so glad that he’s like the only horror writer/director who’s maintained autonomy for the entire existence of it.

But I really wish he’d pivot it back to more of the horror elements. “Curse of Chucky” was great, IMHO.
