Daycare Question
Hi All - We’re pregnant with our first child and due in Jan 2027. I keep hearing from others that you should get on the daycare waitlist as soon as you get pregnant. So asking the broader group when should we start touring the daycares and when should we get on the waitlist ?
We live in Fremont, Seattle. TIA

In Washington, at least when I had babies, there are licensed home daycares. Limit of six kids.
You can look up the ones in your preferred area on a map.
Way better imo than the corporate daycares with their rotating staff, turnover, high number of children giving each other illnesses, and harsh punitive rules (like $10 per minute if you're late, closed on holidays and lots of other days, etc).
