Can't find a hotel for the BTS concert - alternative towns?

I waited too long to book a hotel for the BTS concert, July 1, at King Baudouin Stadium and now everything is either sold our or considerably out of my price range. Can you kindly suggest nearby towns that would have an easy train commute?

If you are not by car : I would advise looking into the metro and tram line that give access to the venue and book along them. To give you an idea, from Heysel (metro) to the other side of Brussels (like Stockel metro station), it takes a little less than 1 hour. So anything reachable the lines 6, 9, 7, 52, 51 and 93 should be fine. (transport map) I would not recommend to stay outside of Brussels if you are not driving simply because Brussels is surrounded by Flanders and they operate on two different public transport systems so you'll have to pay twice or have poor connections. Like someone suggested Zaventem but to reach the venue, you'd have to take 2 transport companies. I say this as someone who live near Zaventem, it's a pain. The exceptions are the hotels near the airport (like Ibis by example) because they are still on the STIB (Brussels) lines (and De Lijn (Flanders) but you have to walk from the tram/bus stop to there if you don't want to change transport companies because they are right outside the Brussels limits.

If you are by car, look how far you'd want to drive after a concert and draw a circle from that. Belgium is small. You'd be in Antwerp in like 50min. If you have a car, you can stay in a smaller village without worries (through airbnb by example).

Edit : for some reason, train missed my brain. But the advice remains for looking at the lines specifically, the metro gives access to all the major train stations and it's usually quite fast and Brussels is not that big. I've recently stayed in a Meininger Hotel and they were nice and affordable. There's a couple in Brussels including one near Station Midi. Not the nicest area of Brussels, especially coming home at night, but it's really next to the station so you won't have to hang outside much.

Meise, Wemmel, grimbergen. Strombeek? They are neighboring cities. Maybe Londerzeel? There even is a camping ground next to the A12 motorway

Whatever your book please think about your ride home. No use booking a cheap place if transport or taxi wont get you there. Taxi maybe but god knows how long it would take you to get one.

I ended up getting a place in Ghent! It's the next major city over and the last train out of Brussels is a bit past midnight and takes about 30 minutes. I know the struggle looking for a place in or near Brussels and surrounding areas, but the prices are all completely out of control right now -- or unavailable 🥴. I figured it was better to book something now then keep waiting and hoping. Good luck to you ARMY! See you in the stadium! 💜

Thanks! I'll take a look! It took me three hours to get home from the Stanford show even though my hotels was 20 minutes away so Ghent sounds like a dream compared. Good to hear from fellow ARMY.

I'll also be in Madrid and Paris! We have an extra room in those cities if you're looking! 🤩

Madrid and Paris and Belgium! That is some beautiful dedication! Thank you for the offer of the extra room. The thing is, I just saw five shows in the US and as mind-blowing as it was, I'm having this odd exhaustion from it all. If I can bouce back, I will be doing Belgium, Munich and might consider Paris and Madrd. Have you seen any Arirang concerts yet?

Madrid will be the first! From there I'm basically going on tour with them for the first several weeks lol. I'll send you a DM now so that we can maybe connect down the road!

Thanks but same deal with Airbnb. Not really looking for cheap housing but something under $200 a night.

Was not written to you but to the sparky poster who didn't bother to look at pricing.   One has to go out of the way to get something cheap now.

Thank you! Are any of these more convenient to King Baudouin Stadium than the others?

Zaventem is where the airport is and in Flanders. 18 min away by drive.  Lot is technically Flanders also but south.

But both have multiple trains.
