Honestly, nearly everyone I've encountered in this game has been great. So many generous and helpful people.
I've noticed a lot of toxicity on this sub, but in-game everyone seems chill as fuck.

Such a weird mentality.
But by and large in-game is one if the the best game communities I've encountered in my, well, forever of gaming.

That's the stuff that keeps you coming back. Squad stayed together for a disconnected teammate instead of just pushing on, and it probably made the difference between a wipe and a win. More raids need that energy.

After shutting the game off because my teammates left me to die when they could’ve easily picked me up so I could keep the loaded backpack of materials I hunted to upgrade my work benches, this post gives me hope that there aren’t just greedy and selfish players in the community.

I had this happen once on locked gate. 20 minutes later 2 bastion husks, a rocketeer and some smaller arc husks all around me with 3 dudes waiting for me with Bettina’s and hatch keys so awesome

Idk what this game is but I see this sub a lot and Luke from LTT mentions it a bit so it’s gotta be good. I love this shit yo. I’ve only played rocket league lately (and Skyrim) but things like rule 1 in RL (where you and an opponent are both holding the accelerator pedal down then lock head to head, you do not break it and let the rest of the lobby play one man down per team) things like seeing an opponent DCed because queue times can sometimes hang so you don’t score on them, when my controller dies or I type out “cat” in the chat and people stop, even though they don’t need to. It makes me happy. I can’t remember if it was DayZ or PUBG but the one guy who played Dave Van Ronk’s “Hang me o hang me” because a group had him at gun point and then let him go. Idk if any of this comment contains a complete sentence but cheers, love you, good luck and have fun.

The game is excellent. Best 40 bucks I've ever spent, and is the only game I've ever enjoyed playing solo. I can't recommend it enough.

This was wild to watch. My son and I play together, and we were both laughing that nobody popped a fake raider flare or betrayed the truce. Just a bunch of raiders forming an accidental wildlife preserve around one disconnected dude. Majestic behavior.

It would be nice if we could push others, raiders are like a brick wall if you run into them.
Once on riven tide night raid was a guy who got disconnected near the beach extract, he had a hullcracker and was pretty geared up, so I wanted to push him into the extract, but wouldn't budge. Tried healing him and defibed him twice, sadly he died in the end.
Is there a way to push others? Maybe with the barricade?

I'm 100% solo pve and always will be, but I can't lie. I've been thinking of trying to at least do trios pvp. I didn't really want to go in totally green with a group of randos though. I have a few irl friends that play and I'm hoping we can find time to actually get together and play.
Stupid life getting in the way of my gaming goals. 😠

Barely anything. Raiders only have 100 hp, regardless of shield tier. Even a whole lobby in 1 spot is less than a single bastion.

This is not typical for me, I've never seen such a large group before. It was actually bigger but we lost some stragglers on the way to the Bombardier. Another guy and myself were going from the hospital to the park killing the Bombardier and Bastion and managed to amass this group along the way, then we happened across this gentleman. We decided this was more important than loot. By the end, the entire lobby hatched out at once

It's because it's the last few hours of trials most likely and so everybody's congregating in the same places. If you head out into Red lakes (well I think it's over now) but, you're just going to run into Raiders taking down arc not shooting one another. I then went to try and find a bombardier on Buried city and encountered a similar situation. It's a great time to stock up on arc supplies. I mean, I was attempting to up my trials score but w/ too many people hunting I just decided to let other people have them since I'm okay with my score to be honest. But since they're hunting and I'm not I just ask and they often tell me to help myself. It's fun extracting with a big happy group too. If you need Big Arc parts and they're on the menu for trials, always hit up those places on the map where people are going to be hunting at the end of trials! 🙂

I did this for a guy who disconnected in the lobby of Risen Tides Hotel, it was spicey with arc everywhere, he lost his shit when he came back, was sure he was dead, lost his hullcracker etc.
The relief and gratitude was palpable.

That's to keep the raider's body temperature healthy while also giving off a larger more fearsome heat signature to scare ARC away. Nature truly is majestic, even when viewed through a lens.
