Vaporizers have the best value per stack(18k) but you only get 1/2 per kill and are a pain to fight. Rocketeer/bastion/bombardier are 9k per stack but easier to kill. Can also just run electromagnetic storm and collect misc cores from the couriers if don't want to/can't kill the large arc. I'd recommend bastion/bombardier since you can break a leg and deadline them for a quick cheap kill

I’ve been walking right up bastions and planting a deadline on the yellow core to kill them instantly. They don’t seem to actually aggro unless you touch them or make noise by sprinting. I just plant it as they’re walking by walking at the same speed, then run away, and use the cloak if they do notice me.

Another problem with any flying Arc is that people will wait for you to mostly kill it then try to draw it away and kill it close to them, so they can loot it.

I’ve done this entirely by accident before. Felt like an idiot and wanted to give the guy all the loot but it was literally on the other side of the map 🤣 I just saw a flaming rocketeer in the distance and shot at it once for fun. Whoops… lesson learned.

but if you miss, a bastion missing a single leg is very quick to turn around and you're toast ! Also bombardiers are not gonna let you break one of their legs easily, you're gonna catch a missile in the ass if you don't have excellent positioning.

Bombas are actually pretty easy to dodge at a distance. Its also nice when youre near but around a corner to them, so they spam their aoe and you just duck behind each time

Vaporizers are still the best option, the most important thing to consider imo is your stash space, one stash slot being 18k in value equals 12 free slots needed to buy each vault tier, or 28 slots if you are interested in the outfits or blueprints

Stash space matters, but vaporizers are probably the third worst option in the entire game, the second being leapers, and the worst being turbines.

They are horribly, horribly inefficient to farm. Just temporarily clear inventory space when you are working on a 500k purchase.

I disagree, yesterday I did four whole close scrutiny raids and I got 17 regulators in total, that's 102k in two hours

I was using a jupiter on the vaporizers, and I found it to be the most efficient weapon to kill them, they take between 12-15 shots to take down, and when you loot them, they give you more than enough energy clips back. All this playing in carebear lobbies, I should add

102k in 2 hours is extremely inefficient, especially for how much effort it takes to do that.

You can reliably get 90-100k per hour farming rocketeer drivers in husk graveyard/ems (just fyi blue gate is bugged and doesn't have the proper amount of electrified husks) and you can do that literally naked.

You should do whatever you find most entertaining, but farming vaporizers is terrible for efficiency.

To me, farming vaporizers in close scrutiny is efficient because I could be almost anywhere in the map, look to the sky and see at least two of them every time, the loot comes to me, not the other way around.

Maybe it's because I also play Helldivers 2 and farming the credits there to buy the cosmetics and new stuff is a really mind numbing experience

I guess it all comes down to what you just said, what is more entertaining to yourself, having fun doing it

I appreciate the rocketeer driver advice, I'll keep that in mind if I ever want to try a different strategy

It feels like doing solos and helping with matriarch and queen for those cores is easiest. Bring a cracka, shoot the leg plates, loot, get 3-4 and then decide if you should stay to help more or just leave. If you don’t help and just steal cores, you’re poopy. Bring stuff. Help kill. Earn those cores.

Jupiter vs vaporizer so the fight is fast

Or just kills bastions however you like due to 5-6 cores.

These seem like the best options to me.

Cracka with 72 shells in riven tides works well and is fun. Just shoot anything big.

Plenty of options here.

Matriarc cores go in the safe pocket and my body will have defibs for whomever loots my corpse when I inevitably die doing something wreckless for more cores/drivers

Matriarch has been my strategy. Grab some cores from the leg plates but also there’s tons of big arc that spawn in. Help take them down and the other players are often too focused on the Matriarch to loot them thoroughly.

for me, the most efficient run, is spaceport/buried city I go in, find one large arc, deadline it, loot everything fast, and then extract.

Also a good one I found, only tested on weekend, so might not work on actual week, is to go with weaker weapons to the matriarch, and not touch the matriarch, but rather take care of the big arcs instead, usually the bombardier is left alone, so I can deadline it, and loot in peace.

Vaporizers. Close scrutiny on buried city. Carefully hunt from the top of the hospital roof. I was leaving consistently with 2.5 stacks.

Jupiter on close scrutiny you can get around 2 stacks consistently and you leave with more energy ammo than you brought in. Also spaceport husk event is slept on. I’ve left with 3 stacks of rocketeer drivers many times. Doing a 10 minute run and leaving with ~8 drivers, you can’t beat it it’s insane. You’ll be drowning in them by the end of the hour if you’re fast

Personally, I like hitting the bastion inside of checkpoint on Blue Gate. Lots of cover. Always there. Sometimes, a bombardier or second bastion spawns in the outdoor section of checkpoint. Also, a good central location to hit any extraction.

Personally I'd say get Rocketeer drivers from husks, then build a shit load of Wolfpacks. In my experience, Wolfpacks are 1 shot kills for vaporizers. Make sure you search every piece because you can get vaporizer cores in the small pieces

bastions. rarely you only get one stack, best case scenrio is 3+ stacks. also easy to kill efficiently. some lures and a deadline or about 10 launcher ammo if you have decent cover.

Bastions. Don‘t bother with bombardier (they drop way less cores for some reason). Throw two lures behind some cover, zipline or run behind the bastion and deadline it. Loot with empty backpack and take everything as fast as possible so leeches won‘t habe time to react to the sound hints of a bastion firing and a deadline exploding. Deadlines are self sufficient when farming comets here and there. They always drop 2 explosive compound and one core. Arc circuits you will most probably get at least one from the bastion.

Seeker BPs are very common in Stella especially if you hit the loading bay. If I haven't sold them already, I think I have three extras which I could give you one.

I just spent ages killing two bombadiers in one round and instead of heading back, I decided to hang around for a third… Got killed off a fucking firefly. I crawled into the middle of the road so hopefully someone found my well stacked corpse.

Nah, spent $40 on another copy of the game & made a second account to have a full stash of mule availability. Much faster & far more space. ~430 hours in & I’m absolutely not adding that grind to it. I sign in for 3-staring trials once a week & play other games in the meantime until new content is released.

It’s clunky but you can do it, just make a bunch of looting mk2s and suicide for efficiency. If you don’t have a second “gaming” pc GFN works wonders. I did the same thing, because the expedition vault has to be less grindy in my mind.

Make sure you're farming arc couriers when you see them. You can get vaporizer cores and turbine cores for the time it takes to breach search them. Is it rare, yeah, but it's a safe way to get cores too. Also electromagnetic storm and husk graveyard Rocketeer husks can provide easy cores.
