i don’t know why i’m waiting for this decision along with UCLA and berkeley. I’ve been either rejected or waitlisted from the rest of the other UCS that have sent out decisions except for UCR and UCSC and yet i’m still here hoping for a miracle to occur. I’ve been mindlessly stressed out for the past week and a half and feel like all the work i put in during high school all went to waste. I applied for engineering so i guess i’m just not good enough while the other applicants are. Also i’m not trying to down anyone i’ve just had no one to talk to about this and felt like i needed to let some steam out. Anyway, good luck to everyone tomorrow on their decisions, i hope you all get in :)

Same! I know exactly how u feel. The only schools that I got accepted to were also UCSC and UCR, but I got waitlisted by literally every other UC (so far). Not saying that those are bad schools, but I was just really hoping for others. I know my grades aren’t great but I don’t think I’m bad. Every time I gave myself some hope and telling myself that i should be more confident, I always get slapped in the face with a waiting list offer. It’s alright tho, don’t worry...I know this is stressful cuz the same thing is happening with me rn...I guess we’ll just wait for tmrw and hope that some miracle can happen. And I’m sure ur a decent student, so there’s definitely some great school out there that will be beyond thrilled to offer u an amazing acceptance letter. Good luck!

I truly believe that you will get into these schools. The application review is holistic. I am also waiting for those three UCs. Good luck!

4.04 1450 here. I got waitlisted at SB and SD, but I got into UCSC. I'm really unsure about UCI and UCLA.

I'm similar. 4.04 UC GPA, 1450 SAT. I'm so fucked for UCLA, even though I have a reason for my GPA being bad that ties into basically everything I did in high school. Judging by the fact that I got waitlisted at SB and SD, only getting into SC, I'm probably gonna get denied.

WOW that’s crazy you seem so qualified. Don’t worry UC’s are holistic so you never know

Ya I’m pretty similar to that as well. 4.04 uc gpa and 1420. I’ve been applying data science/comp sci to the UCs and have been waitlisted at UCSC, UCSB, and UCSD, and rejected from Davis. They r pretty rough this year ngl. Good luck with Irvine and LA

Hey man I’m also in the same boat. Kind of sad abt how impacted CS is when there are ppl who can’t code majoring in it. But we’ll all end up somewhere so don’t worry about it. Good luck to you!!
