Van camping
Hi, my girlfriend and I will be van camping in Anza borrego next weekend. Van is not 4x4 and we don’t have any reservations right now. Where do you guys recommend we park and camp for a couple nights around there?

I don't have a recommendation for a place to park and camp, but be sure to learn how to turn the inside lights off. They normally go on each time you open the door. At a campsite, you're likely to open and close the door several times, and more likely to leave it open to get some fresh air inside. Change the switches or setting so that they all don't go on when you open the door. All of the ceiling lights and courtesy lights can drain your battery. And a dead battery can leave you stranded. Trying to get a cell signal so that you can call a tow truck is no fun!
